Commercial Product Manager

Established in 1982, SILICON has evolved into a global frontrunner in metal fabrication. We specialize in refractory stainless steel fastening and anchoring systems, alongside cutting-edge welding machines. With a dedicated workforce of approximately 85 talented professionals, SILICON is known for delivering top-quality products and services to the petrochemical, chemical, cement, construction, and shipbuilding industries worldwide.

To facilitate SILICON’s rapid growth we are currently seeking a Product Manager that is curious to learn more about our top-quality products. As a Product Manager you play a vital role in ensuring the success of our Refractory Anchoring solutions.

 

What are your rresponsibilities?
As the driving force behind SILICON's product lineup, you'll be at the forefront of its entire lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond. Here's a snapshot of the responsibilities that await:

  • Evaluate product performance and financial viability through sales data and customer feedback.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance profitability while ensuring product success.
  • Recommend product modifications based on market analysis and user feedback.
  • Optimize product sales strategies in collaboration with the Marketing, Engineering and Sales team.
  •  Conduct comprehensive market research to identify customer needs and market trends.
  • Establish unique value propositions and positioning strategies for SILICON products.
  • Develop and present product business cases aligning with strategic goals.
  • Lead new product development projects and oversee the entire product lifecycle.
  • Manage an extensive database of product information for internal use.
  • Maintain product business cases, documentation, and nomenclature.
  • Develop compelling product documentation for promotional and training purpose.

 

What are your requirements?
We are looking for a Product Manager who can blend both Technical and Commercial expertise combined with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Technical or Commercial field;
  • Affinity for technical products and applications in SILICON’s target industries (e.g. petrochemical industry, cement industry
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position
  • analytical skills, with keen attention to detail;
  • Proficient at handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines;
  • Knowledge of and experience with product management methodologies, tools and documents
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
